As a new member of the organization, your dashboard will be empty. The other members of your organization that have already created Deals will need to add you to their deals.‍

To add other members to your deals, you must navigate inside the Deal and view the Team Members tab as shown below.

Click the “+” symbol to select team members to add to this deal. Once selected, press Apply to send them invites to this deal.

Supercharge your Excel Model by integrating it with U-Rite. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
‍

• Open your Excel File
  Launch Excel and open the file you want to connect to U-Rite.‍

• Open U-Rite
  In the top Excel ribbon, click the U-Rite tab. Then select Open U-Rite.

• Link Data from U-Rite to Excel
  Now that you’re in the U-Rite Engine, you can start linking values directly into your Excel model.
  • Click on the field U-Rite that you want to link
  • Then click the "Link Excel" button or alternatively you can use Ctrl + =
    Because real analysts don't use their mouse, they use shortcuts!‍

• Select the Excel Range
  After hitting Link Excel (or using the shortcut), you'll be taken back to your Excel file. Now:
  
  • Highlight the cell or range in Excel that you want to link to the U-Rite field.
  • Hit Enter - and you're done. The link is now active.

• Why didn't that link?
  It looks like the Mgmt Fee and RE Taxes didn't link. That's because they're set as % of line.
  To link those, Click the gear icon next to the % of line item.

• Then press Ctrl + = on the target line (like Effective Gross Revenue) and select the Excel range.

Check if U-Rite has been installed successfully.

Anti-virus software can sometimes prevent the installer for U-Rite from properly setting registry keys. To ensure a successful installation, temporarily disable all anti-virus software before installing.

Alternatively, you can contact your IT Administrator, we're happy to work with them to resolve the issue.

If U-Rite installed successfully, then follow the steps:

1. Save any work in Excel, go to Process Manager, and close all EXCEL.exe.
2. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features and make sure U-Rite is listed to ensure it installed correctly.

     3. Open Excel and go to File > Options > Add-ins

     4. Select Manage: COM Add-ins and click GO. If U-Rite doesn't appear in COM Add-ins, check Disabled Add-ins.

     5. Make sure there is a check mark beside U-Rite.

How to Convert your Argus Model

1. Open Argus and navigate to the Base Scenario
2. Select the Property you would like to convert.
3. Within the Argus Ribbon, click the dropdown at "Export Properties" and select "Export Argus Enterprise Property Asset File".
4. You will then need to save your Argus file to your computer’s desktop.
5. Go to the U-Rite dashboard's import page.
6. Choose or drag the ARGUS Enterprise file and press convert. This will produce a fully populated U-Rite inputs page based off the ARGUS Enterprise assumptions which the user can then work from directly in Excel.

How to Convert and Compare Argus Model with Cash Flow

In addition to the steps above, users can supply the Argus Property Cash Flow to compare with U-Rite calculated Cash Flow. To perform this comparison,

1. Open Argus and navigate to the Property you which to convert.
2. Navigate to the Property Reports and select Cash Flow.
3. Increase the Level of Detail to "Show Tenant + Expense/Revenue Lines", set the calculation period to Monthly and remove all totals from the modeling policies (Final Total and Annual Totals).
4. Within the Argus Ribbon, Select Export under the Report section and choose the "Microsoft Excel (XLSX)" option.
5. You will need to save this file to your computer's Desktop. Be sure to save the file with the property name as well as the words "Cash Flow" in the file name.
6. Now when converting the Argus file within the U-Rite Dashboard, also select the Cash Flow Excel file and click Convert. This will copy the Argus Cash Flow numbers into the U-Rite file and create a worksheet that contains a comparison between U-Rite and Argus Cash Flow numbers. On initial open, you will need to run a calculation to see the U-Rite Cash Flow numbers populate.

Troubleshooting

1. If you face issues converting your file. Please try to export the Argus File as version 14.2 and try again. This can be done at Step 3 of "How to Convert your Argus Model" by selecting the version of the file before exporting it.

If you are getting the error shown below:

Specified Argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: `entryValue`

Please follow the steps below:

Clear the ClickOnce Cache:

1. Close all windows
2. Click the Start button
3. Search for %localappdata%\apps
4. There should be a folder named 2.0, after creating a backup of this folder, delete this folder (this clears the ClickOnce cache)

If you are getting the error message shown below when running a calculation:

Please follow the steps below:

1. Click the Start button
2. Search for run
3. Enter regedit and click OK
4. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Clients
5. Delete any entries in the Clients folder.
6. Reinstall U-Rite, it should prompt to install WebView2
